Silliman University Medical School, represented by its freshmen students together with the Silliman University Medical School Association Officers, participated in the 2017 Nutri-Fit Walk on July 9. This year’s theme is “Healthy diet, gawing habit-for LIFE!”

The said event is an annual observation of the City Nutrition Month of July. Among others who joined are employees from the different local government units, members of socio-civic organizations, and students from various schools. The short parade ended at the Ninoy Aquino Memorial Freedom Park with a Zumba dance awaiting the arrival of all the participants.

Mayor Felipe Remollo, who led the program, pointed out the need for promotion of the practice of a healthy lifestyle and to capitalize in food production for the benefit of the citizenry.
