SUMS appoints new dean

Starting this School Year, The Silliman University Medical School (SUMS) will now be helmed under the new deanship of Dr. Walden Ursos. Turnover of the position was deemed official as the outgoing dean for the first ten years of the institution, Dr. Jonathan Amante, passed on the office to Dr. Ursos. Dr. Ursos will start working as the new dean of SUMS for the school year 2016-2017.

Dr. Ursos is one of the pioneers in the establishment of SUMS in the year 2005 together with the leadership of Dr. Amante and among other contemporaries. He since then taught various medical subjects in the school on different year levels and was the former adviser of the 4^th years prior to appointment.
