The Association of Philippine Medical Colleges - Student Network (APMC-SN) in partnership with the San Beda College of Medicine Student Council conducted a training with the theme “Social Media and Health Care 101: Opportunities and Challenges for Medical Students” last June 9, 2016 at San Beda College of Medicine in Mendiola, Manila.  The said workshop aims to educate the medical students about the use of the social media for clinical care and the potential implications that this has on ethics professionalism and society.
Our very own Moh’d. Ryane Eid A. Bogabong, a junior medical student who is also the current National Chairperson of the Students’ Rights and Welfare committee was one of the co-heads of the said event. Mr. Bogabong assured us that the APMC-SN will continue to strive and do their best in organizing relevant and important events as long as this will benefit the medical students and the future status of the healthcare.
