SUMS Launches 10th Year Anniversary

Last August 7, 2015, a devotion formally opened Silliman University Medical School’s 10^th year anniversary giving back all the Glory to God for SUMS success through the years. The said event was graced by none other than the University President, Dr. Ben S. Malayang III, who inspired students not only to become competent doctors, but those with character and faith as well.  He further emphasized that like a ship we can always be strong, but not necessarily good.  And that is why it is important to have God as our rudder. Further on, Pastor Mark Agusto led the worship service that was filled with gratitude for the blessings that the medical school has received. It was also a moment wherein a prayer was said for the Physician Licensure Exam takers. The said event was also graced by the Dean, some faculty and staff as well as the whole medical student population.
